This portrait of the area just off Egypt Road at Crybaby Bridge near Salem, Ohio, uses watercolour pencils and watercolour to depict an old overgrown road and a group of the invasive but beautiful purple loosestrife wildflowers on a late summer's day. Crybaby Bridge is the source of local legends concerning abandoned babies. The original watercolour-pencil painting has been sold, please contact the artist if you would like to commisssion a similar piece.
